Siemens Healthineers’ External Innovation Think Tank Exhibition (eITT 2022)
Innovation Think Tank (ITT), a part of the Chief Technology Office of Siemens Healthineers, is organizing its annual external exhibition (eITT 2022) on July 28th, 2022 virtually. During the eITT 2022, finalist teams from ITT locations and partner universities, hospitals, and start-ups worldwide will present their projects on how to improve human life. Based on an online voting, the winners will receive different awards which also includes possibilities for our ITT fellowships, prize money in total of €5000 (1st Prize €2500, 2nd Prize €1500, and 3rd Prize €1000) and the possibility of becoming a part of the investment funnels of the participating VCs. The event focuses on open innovation, co-creation and disruptive innovations in the area of healthcare. Best practices at various ITT locations and collaborations along with applicants from other institutions, start-ups and industries will be presented.
Annually, nearly 200 Innovation Think Tank Fellowships are awarded to participants from various universities and research institutions giving them the opportunity to work on interdisciplinary projects at ITT locations worldwide. Open innovation projects worked on by the ITT participants and external applicants can be nominated for eITT 2022. In the past years, up to 40 project teams took part in the annual exhibition. The top three teams will be recognized based on an evaluation by the guest jury including senior management of Siemens Healthineers and will be awarded a total of €5000 prize money (1st Prize €2500, 2nd Prize €1500, 3rd Prize €1000). Siemens Healthineers ITT also plans to nominate selected projects for publication in their upcoming “Innovation Think Tank Proceedings & Outlook Report (ITT P&OReport)” August 2022 issue.
